Overall aim and context of the lesson
This is the previous
lesson on the math topic. Teaching effectively by engaging all with proper
time management.

Firstly, SELECT one
aspect that YOU feel either you did very well or were unhappy with.
I was nerves in the beginning
of my lesson, I was talking to my students to introduce my lesson about shapes
and all of them were watching me and my MST was making some notes about me because
my lesson was a practices and my MST wasn't observe me she just took some notes
as I told her to see if I need to improve my lesson next time.
DESCRIBE the
situation, participants and events in detail
Before my lesson I was
so excited, I prepared myself and my activities but I realized that I forgot
one if my activities the shaving cream and I was panic I told myself how could I
forget the most important thing in my activities? I didn't know what to do I called
my sister to bring the shaving cream from my house but she was far away from
home but I notes that there is a grocery nearby the school so I called and he
bring a shaving cream for me but it was not that good for my activity and my
MST said "it is okay the students got the idea so don't worry".
Secondly, ANALYSE WHY
AND HOW, this event happened in the way it did.
I'm not use to forget
something about my activities I thought that I took all of them with me and I didn't
forget anything but when I started putting my activities in the centers I looked
for the shaving cream and I didn't find it I almost cried so the grocery saved
my lesson for now. I control myself and I taught them about shapes and they
were very happy with me they answered my questions and they love my activities
also my MST came and saw me how to do the activity for focusing group she loved
it and she said "I didn't see this activity before". Which is I gave
them white paper, glue, salt, injection pipe and food color and I set with them
to give them instructions about it, I didn't tell them what is going to happened
I want them to discover by themselves.
Then, APPRAISE the
situation. What effect did the event
have on you/your feelings? How did it
effect students’ learning?
My lesson was really
good even I have problem with time management and I told my MST about that and
she said "your time was good and you didn't go over it, I think you are
improving well done" I was so happy about what she said to me. Also the
students learn about the shapes and where can they find them in the classroom
or around them everywhere.
Finally, TRANSFORM,
the situation by writing how you would improve the situation in a future
lesson.
Next time I will take her advice and
her notes about me and improve it for the next lesson. Also I will make sure
that I will not forget any of my activities, I hope so.
